In these years that I have been in high school I have been going from bad to worse. I have passed the grade by miracle and almost always end up failing some course. right now I am just a month away from finishing the school year and I am afraid, I have slacked for 8 months and I feel that my actions could have terrible consequences such as repeating the year and disappointing my mommy, can I improve in that time? :'[

i am not sure how the scholar system works on earth
but when i was doing bad, i would restrict myself from technology
it did help, and it gave me a refreshing taste of life too!

OK SOOOO... I didn't care about my grades for 2 years straight. And now i am dead set on making A's and B's this year. And i downloaded this app called Quizlet and it has helped a BUNCH. It genuinly makes studying fun, and its on your phone! And i also tent to try to listen to music as I study because it helps keeping me foucused!

* Try asking for help from your teachers, classmates, friends, parent(s), or someone you know.
* Join a homework club if you have one at your school
* Try to get a better sleep schedule
* Stop drinking caffeine after 12 PM (If it bothers your sleep schedule)
* Have study hours after school
EX :
* Wake up : 6-7 AM - Go to bed : 9-10PM
* Study after school : 2-3 hours
EX : 5 PM - 6 PM

I'm late, kind of. But, as a college student, I assume you're in HS or MS, or maybe you're in college to I don't know. Regardless, I would recommend you break your assignments into day by day. If you have lot of work lets say due at the end of the week, try to do little by little everyday until it's done. and dont try to cram assignments in all at once, that'll cause fatigue and morale loss and you'll feel poopy.

Focus on the subjects you’re failing, make a schedule, and break things into smaller chunks. Don’t be afraid to ask for help from your teachers or friends they’ve been there too.
Just keep it chill, stay focused, and take it one step at a time.

I've started using the pomodoro method for studying & getting work done.
It's basically studying/doing work for 25mins, then doing what you want for 10. It doesn't necessarily have to be 25mins, it can be any time. You do work for a certain amount of time then do what you want for half of that time.
Ex: rikai studied for 10mins & played Groove 2 for 5 more minutes. She goes back & forth between studying & playing Groove 2. 10, 5, 10, 5, 10, 5, till she gets overwhelmed.
I see this post was from 11 months ago... I hope this still helps anyone who needs it.👍
