but like, hot mulligan, mobo, the hotelier, any two words, slaughter beach dog, microwave, joyce manor, microwave, free throw, michael cera palin...

i'll even throw out a spicy the front bottoms and frontier ruckus even though i don't really consider them emo (please kiss me on the mouth if you know who frontier ruckus are hahahahahah i'm just joking hahahahaha but like my door is open and my room is cool as hell hahahaa i was raised on country and in the middle of corn fields hahahaha please god)

i'm barely starting to listen to hot mulligan because my spotify and ig have been labeling me as a midwest emo enjoyer for the longest
i mostly only listen to like... the front bottoms, joyce manor, mom jeans, and american football im not super into the genre but u should totally umm give me recs on what to listen to so i can get deeper into the genre

i was super into it back in 2019-2021, before it was called midwest emo and was more just known as DIY hahaha. i still really love mom jeans tho, and i seen microwave open for them which was cool

yep, i really like the midwest bands that we have here in mexico
