What do I do? (Halloween)

Basically, I have never been trick or treating. My parents were too overprotective. Now I've got my freedom & I moved out, but there's the problem: I'm an adult now. I really wish I could trick or treat someday. Is it normal for young adults (as in college students) to trick or treat? If not, is it okay if I wait a few years until I have a child, & once the child is a bit older, I would go as their guardian?

I feel like I really missed out during childhood.

You definitely might get some weird looks trick or treating as an adult. But! If you have friends you can still go to costume parties and that's almost just as fun. I miss trick or treating but handing out candy in a costume can also be just as fun. You can see all the different costumes and dress up yourself as well. Otherwise you could also just go for a walk and look at everything around, no candy involved.
