Decorating??? Personalizing?? Where????

Honestly like I look at how customizable everything was in like the
early internet days and such, everything had so much personality, you
could look at a profile and tell that they most likely worked hard on
that. People even learned how to code to make everythung more
personalized!! And i think that is amazing but unfortunately i was not
old enough to enjoy all that, if i even was alive, depends on which
years we talk about. ANYWAY now you have  pfp and MAYBE a banner at
best, is it just bc ppl are getting lazy? Or maybe its bc of the
millenial minimalism just like they do with the beautiful old houses,
modernizing them, taking pretty much all the color and personality away
and making the masterpiece look like just any other house. Ofcourse
minimalism and such can be good but too much of a good thing is not
good. It just feels so boring and lifeless sometimes and idk we
literally have the whole world at our fingertips and still everything
feels so dull to me. So recently i have been more into coding or well
idk if you can call it that but i really wish to understand it just so i
can decorate my own things how i wish and not be stuck behind paywalls
or just not have the possibility to do more. I wanna learn how to make
my own website or sth, it seems fun but hard lol but well it is what it
is.

Oh also you can have a minimalistic profile and decorate
it in a way where it looks pretty and personalized but right now in
insta, tik tok and so on it is literally impossible so yeahm.

Its
not just because of not being able to decorate as well but i feel like
everything is so boring now and idk i feel no motivation to post my art
anymore, even in the lesser known websites where i used to enjoy it on
bc there was a stronger sense of Community and i didn't feel like im
being spoonfed ads every five seconds or that numbers matter more then
my actual art. Idk its just, the internet is so odd and i don't know if
i'll ever truly get the joy i felt before regards to it back.

ANYWAY
if ya'll have any cool websites i could maybe visit that ACTUALLY have
personality or maybe sth to help me start with coding or just your
thoughts on this subject then i'd be delighted to hear about them!!!!!
