I want to start a band when im older

Green day and The Moldy Peaches are really inspiring me to want to start my own band when I'm older but like idk how to play the guitar or the drums all I know how to play is the violin I mean will that help me with it??? I kinda wanna start like an indie rock or punk rock kinda band :P
