Krita

Hii! I just wanted to know how was your experience using Krita and what tips and tricks you would share with someone who is just starting to use it.

Krita is amazing! I highly recommend it. I'd start by just playing around with the base program to get a feel for the UI and workflow. Once you get the basics you can start adding plug-ins, custom brushes, etc.

I'm at work rn. Once I'm home I can send resources and some pics of my set up if you'd like.

Krita is a great way to familiarize yourself with prospective tools, although it took me awhile to find the buttons for them, the tools themselves are very easy to use. It should be the tool thats two circles with like, four pin looking things in it, in big paint mode it would be on the left, and the snap to assistants button and the menu for the type of perspective tool would be in the bottom right hand corner.

I also find it a great, low barrier to entry animation software, I just figured out how to add an audio track to the timeline to animate over! It's just a speaker button next to the onion icon.
