I agree wholeheartedly!

In the past people used to put effort, time and love in the beautiful and not so beautiful stories they created, some authors even studied their language for years before publishing a book. Now, some modern YA authors (we all know who) even tend to forget to put quotation marks where it is necessary! Those books all follow the same galling format (cover and contents). 
My thought on this is that the media had a large influence since people no longer tend to go out to actually experience life! Those authors are a copy paste incel/femcel.

Not to mention! The mass production of smut 'books'. Honestly, those girls are even developing a porn addiction! Just like porn they search for something darker and then 'dark romance' was born which makes me sick to the stomach.

Oh I 100% agree, especially since shes so popular on booktok and just social media in general. But if u want a good YA romance to read I definitely recommend lynn painters books!! They are awesome
