What's going on October 2024?

Besides just trying to survive the work week every week, dealing with family, and a lot of bureaucracy *melts into the floor*

1. I'm hosting a spacehey challenge this month which anyone is welcome to join and participate in. The intention is to boost interaction and engagement on Spacehey. You can find out more information here.

2. I'm trying to get back into making youtube videos for fun. Working on different things, trying to keep it creative. 

3. Really trying to organize my living space which is a CONSTANT battle. I get it all organized and then wreck it like a tornado. 

4. Trying to do some festive activities for Halloween

5. I'm bummed that I won't be able to see the Sisters of Mercy this Month! I might still try but it's not likely. 

6. I'm really sad about the people impacted by the recent hurricane getting no financial aid from the government - it's disgraceful! If anyone can help with a donation you can find more information here.

What's everyone got going on this month?

I don't really have anything amazingly cool going on this month. But I'm glad it's spooky season. Halloween stuff always makes me happy.

What are you looking forward to?

I'm looking forward to cooler weather. Our central air died and this summer was brutal. I work mostly from home in an upstairs office with no window, so it got pretty bad at times.

What are you struggling with/ need support/ words of encouragement with?

I'm not really struggling with anything at the moment. Just livin'.

What's everyone got going on this month?
I am going to do dress shopping for my dads wedding, which is happening on the 13th of this month

Honestly my dads wedding, and Halloween.

My self esteem, I am trying to work on myself, any words of encouragement to help me work on my self esteem would be great.

I was led to this site thru searching "MySpace nostalgia" in the last year as I so missed logging in back in the hay days of 2007. Customizing my profile for years to come so glad to have spent hours more than a few times here doing the same. 

I'm participating in Cryptic Jasmine's SpaceHey challenge and Mab Graves (on instagram) drawloween artist challenge this month as well as entering a customized Blythe style doll in a local art show centering around the play Dracula: a Comedy of Errors. The art call is artists to create for good and evil. I started a vampire style doll as I couldn't not with the themes involved.

For October I'll be watching bunch of cool movies/series - the new Uzumaki anime, second Joker Movie, Amazing Digital Circus new episode. And maybe find something else to watch for the spooky season :P

I'll also be visiting a con during October, so that'll definitely be fun :D

What's everyone got going on this month?

well we just had milton and im still cleaning up debris in my neighborhood. im near the coast, so itll be a while before things in the surrounding areas are truly back to normal. just kinda trying to stay positive though because it wasnt that bad for me and i have a lot to be grateful for rn. the local govt opened up an application for anyone who wants to help with relief but if they dont get back to me ill try to see if theres a charity or something that needs extra volunteer labor idk i feel kinda bad sitting around and only helping my neighbors when we werent really hit that bad

i was participating in your spacehey challenge but i kinda fell off the last few days (understandably tbh lol). i may pick it up again next week, i dont know

and besides that i just have work and uni i guess, though both have been disrupted quite a bit. uhh jeez on that note i really should make more time for lsat practice :|

What are you looking forward to?

in FL our statewide audubon society runs a program that keeps track of the nesting habits and population of bald eagles in the state. the nesting season is about to begin, and i was able to sign up this year as a volunteer, meaning ill get to monitor a local nest. ive already checked my nest out and im super excited to observe it on an official basis. even if nothing happens at the nest and i never see an eagle there (a possibility) im pretty happy i can collect data that will help the audubon biologists with their efforts yknow?????

also i managed to make halloween plans YES. last year i had nowhere to go :[ but my friend and i are going to a party!!! (*tentatively, hopefully it doesnt fall through) and we're doing matching costumes YAYYYYY i love dressing up for halloween sosososo much :D its my favorite holiday

my birthday is also coming up very soon. i have no idea what ill do for it probably nothing B)
