giving profile picture and friends different overlays?

hii so currently i'm using the aero dark layout for my page which is wonderful, however it comes with icon overlays and that is a problem because i've had my eye on the jewel case pfp overlay since before i even made my account. the thing is i really like the icon overlays aero dark uses, so i want to find a way to change ONLY my profile picture's overlay while keeping the friend's overlays the same. whenever i tried transplanting the code between classes, it always messed up when i tried to apply it directly to the .person class instead of letting it get inherited from the .profile-pic class.

i'm pretty new to coding so this has been very confusing!! any help is appreciated @_@;; lmk if you want me to elaborate on anything
