I don't think there is much to talk about yet in this group, so I will for just put this question thingy here!


  1. What is your favorite dinosaur?
  2. What is your favorite prehistoric animal (no dinosaur)?
  3. Why do you love dinosaurs and prehistory
  4. Where do you get paleo news from, if you do look for them?
  5. What is your favorite dinosaur media (books, movies etc.)


I will answer them first:

  1. What is your favorite dinosaur?
    - Spinosaurus and Shantungosaurus (can't decide, hehe)

  2. What is your favorite prehistoric animal (no dinosaur)?
    - Probably the mighty Basilosaurus or Terrorbirds

  3. Why do you love dinosaurs and prehistory
    - I never grew out of my 5-year-old self, always loved them

  4. Where do you get paleo news from, if you do look for them?
    - primarily from https://www.sci.news but also on the discord servers Your Dinosaurs Are wrong and Saurians

  5. What is your favorite dinosaur media (books, movies etc.)
    - Jurassic Park ofc. The books as well as the movies

  1. What is your favorite dinosaur? The aardonyx or riparovenator! 
  2. What is your favorite prehistoric animal (no dinosaur)? Hmmmm maybe the gorgonops!
  3. Why do you love dinosaurs and prehistory? My special interest is zoology, which I've been interested in since before I can remember! I see paleontology as an extension of that. 
  4. Where do you get paleo news from, if you do look for them? Currently, nowhere, I'd love to find some sites that I could check up on regularly though. 
  5. What is your favorite dinosaur media (books, movies etc.) DINOSAUR REVOLUTION!!!!!!!!! I used to watch that series over and over and over again when I was younger.

  1. What is your favorite dinosaur? My favorite dinosaur is Diabloceratops!! I also love all spinosaurids <3 
  2. What is your favorite prehistoric animal ? I'm not sure , I enjoy learning about early bugs and plants . :p 
  3. Why do you love dinosaurs and prehistory?  I got really into dinosaurs when I was a toddler, my grandpa got me to watch jurrasic park with him and I've been obsessed with them since lol! 
  4. Where do you get paleo news from, if you do look for them? I don't have a lot of great sources, I watch a lot of youtube videos on dinosaur news. I also like going through wikipedia rabbit holes. BUT I do have an ancient life biology class which covers some dinosaurs ! 
  5. What is your favorite dinosaur media (books, movies etc.) I love prehistoric planet and Raptor red , also JP ofc, JP3 is my favorite

Heyyy I am trying to become a paleontologist/geologist and would love some friends who are doing the same

1. What is your favorite dinosaur? Therizinosaurus 

2. What is your favorite prehistoric animal (no dinosaur)? Either Dire Wolves or Inostrancevia

3. Why do you love dinosaurs and prehistory? We have stood where they stood yet everything was different but still the same in a way

4. Where do you get paleo news from, if you do look for them? Natural history museums and paleontologists

5. What is your favorite dinosaur media (books, movies etc.) Dragon Teeth by Michael Crichton same guy who wrote Jurassic Park but its about the bone wars

1.-What is your favorite dinosaur? The Carnotaurus, completely!
2.-What is your favorite prehistoric animal? The mammoths and the anomalocaris!
3.-Why do you love dinosaurs and prehistory? Because I feel that they are one of the most interesting and beautiful topics that can be talked about.
4.-Where do you get your paleo news, if you look for it? Science and occasionally a YouTuber with viable sources.
5.-What is your favorite dinosaur medium? TV, I love documentaries. From time to time a game like The Isle.

Diabloceratops, Mercuriceratops, Utahraptor, Pyroraptor, Hadrosaurus(all of them)
2. What is your favorite prehistoric animal (no dinosaur)?
Any extinct sea reptile! But if to be specific i'll say plesiosaurs.
3. Why do you love dinosaurs and prehistory? 
They amazing and it's fascinating to learn about their physiology!
5. Where do you get paleo news from, if you do look for them? 
Sci.news and youtube EDGE science 
6. What is your favorite dinosaur media (books, movies etc.)
Jurassic Park/World, Prehistoric planet, National Geographics Dinosaurs(book), Dinosaurs Rediscovered(book), Dinopedia and any other books about dinosaurs!
