advice for a baby witch

hi!! i just started practicing and i would like to get some advice from witches that have been practicing for longer than i have. im pretty into green witchcraft and would like to learn more about what different herbs mean and their purposes. does anyone have an recommendations for books where i can get research on it? i would also like to know some places where i can get affordable things to practice and finally, i would like to know more about different pagan holidays and how to properly celebrate them from someone elses perspective. any advice will help!!
