if you could change anything about the games, what would it be?

honestly i have nothing but x7 & 8 narrative potential on my brain (and anything else
needs some sort of relation to either those games or axl). but what id
change is sigma's involvement in x7, instead of red alert getting
infected with the maverick virus, they'd go berserk because of the dna
data they used to upgrade themselves. basically i just want
axl to suffer

for x8, i think they could've gone further into the
religious aspects of the game (and in doing so, put more focus on axl
because i am biased). i think the newgens could've had some religious fanaticism, but thats just me

anyways i also think iris should've lived in x4, only to die a few games later. i think she could add more to the world and to character dynamics. she shouldn't live through the entire x series, since she and colonel were doomed to die without the other. i was honestly thinking that iris could get some protoman parallels (core issues). i also think with her, repliforce could have more impact in later games? it wouldn't last (obviously), but i think it could get a reform in a way? it wouldn't be combat based, since that's not in iris' character (and i think after her fight with zero, combat would just kill her faster).

idk these are just my thoughts, i like sharing them and i like hearing others
