i really recommend 'So much to tell you' by John Marsden, it's quite short at only around 110 pages, it's really sweet and i loved it. its about a young student who is lonely and struggles to speak, and its presented mostly as little journal entries made by her. I've only read it once so far a little while ago, but it hasn't left my mind since!!

Since u didnt say which genre you like more ill give u a mix;

- Suspense + mystery/thriller + plot twist = The silent patient

- Fantasy + worrld building + literally felt like a child again reading percy jackson = The cloud road (Martha Wells)

-magic + adventure + found family + mystery = The will of the many (James Islington )

- Self discovery + Theif/outlaw + found family = Court of assasins (Philip C Quaintrell

hope u enjoy since some of these are not very well known, although they 100000% should be <3
