- pretty much a big chunk of booktok books that focus on smut

the unborn by david shobin. too much time is spent describing her boobs for some reason and not the horror.

and the nypd red sequels. the first book is great! the rest not so much. the characters become so flat in the sequels.

Shatter me - I was sceptical when I first heard about it and I was right. It sucks and has some terrible messages

Ruthless Vows - it literally erased everything I loved from the first book . The first book was focused more on the emotions rather than plot and the characters felt small in the world. The second book had more plot and thus neglected the emotional aspect a bit more and was just boring despite this, really 

My heart is a chainsaw - Idk if it was because I was only just getting into horror stuff when I read it so I didn't understand all the references to popular slasher franchises and was confused but the dad 🍇 subplot felt like it wasn't explored properly for such a huge traumatic event in the mc's life?? Idk I'm (thankfully) not a victim so Idk but still
