How to use custom fonts I have donwloaded?

I've downloaded some free to use fonts as zip files, but I'm not sure how to create code to 'upload' them?? or if that's even possible??

If not what is some code I can use to get already hosted fonts onto my profile?

I just want to be able to have more decorative fonts than the default ones available,,
