Today I found out a band I like is performing in my city later this year. I'm thinking of inviting a friend or two to join me but it's not guaranteed they'll join me. If this does happen it will be my first time going to a music event ever and it might be that I go alone. Definitely it'll be more fun for me to go with others but I'm just wondering if there are people who go to concerts alone and still enjoy it? I'm definitely overthinking this but whatever haha.

a BUNCH of people go alone to concerts and enjoy it, for me it sort of depends though tbh, if its a band i really like and always wanted to see then ill go alone, if its a band i dont know then ill feel kind of shitty alone lmfao, but id still recommend you go alone if no one else will go with you

I technically haven't been to a concert alone but I go to a ton of small gigs alone. It depends on how big the concert is going to be and the type of audience. If it's a smaller concert you'll probably see alot of people also on their own. I usually end up making friends at gig, you just gotta brave it and say hey. 50% of the time you'll make a new friend and you won't be dancing alone :)
