Converting to Catholicism

I want to convert to Catholicism. I am already Christian (Protestant) but I want to convert. I cannot go to any Catholic Churches, nor do I have the money for any books or whatever. Any tips?

So from what I know converting to Catholicism is kind of a complicated
process, but for now I would just do lots of research online about what
we believe and why, so you have a strong foundation to build off of. If
you really can't make it to any catholic masses it wouldn't be a bad
idea to watch an online mass, but remember that this is not a
replacement for actually going to church in person. Do more research on
this, but afaik attending protestant services is not a good idea because
you are opening yourself to false teachings. Pray the rosary daily and
read the Bible daily. You can read a few catholic classics for free that
are in the public domain at archive.org or gutenberg.org. Remember to
do Friday penance.

It might sound like a lot, but once you get all these
practices in your routine you'll feel at greater peace, and you'll be doing better than a good number of Catholics. Be diligent, if you give an inch to sloth and skip some of these practices, the temptation to give up all together is much stronger. May God help you in your journey His Church.
