Leifheit insulating jug

I know this is like supposed to be a really deep forum about life and all of that but like, this is relevant to MY LIFE. 

So like I got this "insulating jug" right? I put the name in the title, and yeah I was wondering if I could put my sodas in.

Before you say that the official leifheit websites says that "no ice cubes or carbonated drinks should  be poured in" Im suggesting that maybe they could be lying

Okay I guess there's no reason for them to lie and I really shouldn't check it out if im gonna run the risk of ruining my now favourite brand new shiny jug but I rather find out why

Alright im being unreasonable at this point but the point is is that can someone check for me what happens when you put a cold soda in a jug like this? Im not saying ruin your own jug, I just want answers since its just like ONE website man and it doesn't specify anything other than a warning

Im real curious now. Does its blow the top off? Will the bottom leak out? 

I have this strawberry soda im saving up for my cousins
