Opinions on team past winning? and any theories on how it will relate to the next game in the series?
My personal take is the next game's story mode taking place during the great turf-war seems like a good past theme.

actually pretty happy! i was on team present, but a game focused on the past would be super interesting, especially with the great turf war. splatoon really has some interesting history that i'd be glad to see expanded on. not to mention, having older weapons would surely make from some interesting sets and gameplay. we already have the bamboozler, but what else could exist in the past...?
maybe a greater focus on octarians, too. what happened after the inklings won, the creation or discovery of deepsea metro. or maybe that would only work as a spinoff? seeming as in splatoon 3, we instead had a greater focus on the salmonids and they could continue with that direction.
