Cannibalism and its place in the world. A theoretical and (maybe) philosophical question.

It is no secret what cannibalism is and what it is all about. It is simple: intraspecies predation, animals eating their own kind, eating members of their own species.

Β  Β But if we imagine that animals became so few that buying real meat became available only to rich people.Β Vegetables, fruits and other crops gradually die out and it takes time for the soil to recover.Β

Β  Β The question arises between eating artificially produced meat, which consists of various kinds of insects and plants, or eating one's own kind. And, if you think about it seriously, which would you prefer?Β

(Cannibalism in this case is not condemned in society and is the norm.)

As I'm already interested in tasting human flesh (not that I would outside of this hypothetical, I'm more curious about what it's like- morbid curiosity), I probably would at least once. As long as the other person was consenting to it, of course.Β Still, I wouldn't mind eating the meatΒ produced by insects and plants. (I already consider vegetarian burgers better than real burgers!)Β
