I'm very curious how many SpaceHey users actually had a MySpace account back in the day. I'm glad younger people are using SpaceHey so they can get a taste of the freedom MySpace offered before, it's just something I thought about.
Once social media started to be so boring and barebones, it made me really miss my MySpace days. I've gotten so sick of sites only giving you an icon and banner and that's it. Not even letting you change the general color scheme of your profile.

There was no MySpace when I first got online. Grew up on Geocities, learning to make my own website. To me the web was always read-write by definition. Didn't need social media for that. But this place is kinda cool too.

I used MySpace near the tail end. I got into it in 2006 just before I created my YouTube Channel. I had a custom layout my younger cousin showed me hwo to make and then the rest was history. I was one of the last holdouts too. I didnt mean MySpace until 2013 when I finally fully switched over to Facebook.

You stayed on it longer than I did. I sadly gave into peer pressure and left it for facebook. I didn't realize how much freedom I lost when making the switch since YouTube still had a lot of customizable elements to it. Looking back on it, I shouldn't have switched since I really hated facebook, just overall.
