before i used spotify, i had youtube music, and honestly its a little better because you can find unreleased stuff and just a lot of stuff that isnt on spotify is on youtube, AND it has a lyrics feature just like spotify.

similar to what someone else here said, youtube. Now in my opinion you don't need to use youtube music, you can use a yt2mp3 website or something like that to download anything from youtube. the best option could be to just find physical media in thrift stores or record stores, since you don't need to pay a subscription for music that you may or may not listen to regularly.

Hey, just wanted to jump in and share something that really helped me out.

I’ve always loved using Spotify, but the free version can be super annoying with all the ads and limited skips. Like, I’d be in the middle of vibing to my playlist and boom - some loud ad just ruins the mood. And don’t even get me started on how I couldn’t download songs to listen offline.

So I started looking for a way to use Spotify Premium without having to pay every month. After digging around a bit, I found something called a Spotify MOD APK - basically, it’s a tweaked version of the regular app that gives you all the Premium features for free. Sounds too good to be true, right? But honestly, it worked way better than I expected.

With it, I can:

  • Listen to music without any ads
  • Skip as many songs as I want
  • Download tracks for offline listening
  • Get better sound quality

The best part? I didn’t have to root my phone or do anything complicated. I just downloaded the APK file, installed it, and logged into my account like normal. Super simple.

I found a good version here: Spotify MOD APK spottifyapk.software - it’s where I always go when I need the latest version. Some sites out there are kinda sketchy, but this one felt clean and safe.

Just a heads-up though: using a modded app technically goes against Spotify’s terms of service, so there’s always a little risk. But for me, it’s been totally worth it, especially since I just wanted to try out Premium before deciding whether to pay for it or not.

If you’re also tired of ads or being limited by the free version, give it a shot. It really changed how I listen to music every day.

Let me know if you try it out too - I’d love to hear what you think. Happy listening!

If you don't have an iPhone, IamAI's option is the best. If you have an iPhone like me :( you can pay $20 a year for Signulous. It gives you access to all sorts of cracked apps and games but specfically it has four different versions of Spotify for free, with all of the premium features. Also useful if you want Youtube without ads on mobile without paying for premium.

you download music

thats it, it might take a while to compile everything but at least you wont have money hungry pigs eating your money just so that you can listen to your music (if you think about supporting artists that way just buy their physical media, cds tapes vinyls etc)

Can't really recommend Youtube Music because of its compression system, though it is good for DISCOVERING music.

But Bandcamp is great for both listening and downloading. Most artists (I think? this is coming out of my ass ok!) on Bandcamp offer their music with a free download, or atleast some tracks or releases. Plus it's often occupied by artists with small followings so you're very likely to discover something new quite easily.

Soulseek is good for pirating music as well if said artist isn't on Bandcamp and you want a high quality audio.

The problem with downloading music is the storage requirements, sadly.

Though I will agree with everyone here on using APKs for apps. I personally use a modified Spotify on my PC *AND* my phone.

i used to get everything on soulseek, you can find almost EVERYTHING there for free and listen to it on any player you'd like.. and genius has all the lyrics for songs..

and bandcamp is really cool if you can find your favorite artists there.. a lot of artists sell their albums for a dollar or for free, give out free codes for albums, and if you buy something, it'll be forever yours and they will love you.

and bandcamp also has profiles there, so it's very easy to find new music there, you don't even have to try..

I canceled my Spotify premium subscription and invested in an MP3 player. Then I just started adding music I love to that. No ads and it won't get taken away if the artist gets removed from Spotify
