Hi fellas. What do you think about BYD? Ive been seeing them a lot lately, and many people have been buying their electric cars over Tesla, even though they both rose in popularity nearly at the same time. Personally, after all the banter against Tesla (and ther messy stuff) Im leaning more towards BYD.
What do you guys think? Is BYD better than Tesla or viceversa?

me personally i like combustion engine cars and i feel that byd is too new of a company to put my trust in them, if i had to choose an electric brand i would probably go with toyota

i would stay away from byd, they're made with the cheapest components hence being the cheapest vehicles.

STAY AWAY FROM ANYTHING CHINESE MADE ESPECIALLY CARS
they lack basic safety features, and if something goes wrong? you're screwed
a tesla is definitely better than any BYD
also stay away from some global brands being manufactured in china with chinese specs, like some hondas and volkswagen ID series
the only decent fully electric cars i know of are made by toyota and hyundai/kia
just get yourself a prius or an economic car from the early 90's, their fuel consumption is low
and if your country allows the sales of diesel sadans with no requirement for DFE systems? go for em!
