Hello.
Has anyone used or still using Microsoft 3D Movie Maker? It's this piece of animation software and a "game" released in 1995 by of course, Microsoft, under there Children's division, Microsoft Kids, for there new operating system at the time, Windows 95, but it does work on Windows 98 and beyond, and hell, it even works on Windows 10 and 11!
There maybe some shit 3dmm movies but there are some pretty good examples, like the famous "Grandpa Found the Car Keys" by Gavin Owers (ala "Villian Wins.mid") and "Diabolical Delightment" by Will Maltby and Chris Ward, there is 3dmm.com, a great site that has an *almost* complete archive of 3dmm movies, there is also 3dmmstudio.co.uk, 3dmm.co.uk and other 3dmm archive sites that you should check out, it was a pretty unique game of the time, and hell, there are even modifications for this program, yeah, MODS!!! isn't that cool?
I also make 3dmm movies, here's a YouTube playlist of some of my movies I made, old & new: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL7qRiTMH_Mf9OxnImEDKDRVwVfKT_J7tW
or you can check them out on my Newgrounds, my account is nearly filled to the brim with 3dmm content, also old & new: https://autismboy1.newgrounds.com/
so yeah, what do you guys think of 3D Movie Maker? ;)
