I have no knowledge of the C++ language or OpenGL API, but I've decided that I'm going to learn them the same way I tried and kind of succeeded at learning PHP, which is: creating a massive project that I will restart dozens of times. I'm not going to say what I'm actually making, or am at least going to try to make, but I have made a "worldatlas.png" texture file. I don't know if that will ring any bells with anyone who reads this, but if it does feel free to speculate what I'm making below in the replies.
Update: Fuck compilers I'm going to learn x86 assembly and write a native Windows program in that.
Update: (The next day) Going to C and DirectX because I loosened my asshole's grip on everything being from before 2013 on my computer and am installing visual studio 2022. This is because everywhere I look people say not to write things in pure fucking assembly anymore.
