Asking because I remember how I didn't like mechanics or vehicles at all but after the pandemic and with the F1 and my current job i've started to appreciate it a lot more and I'm curious of other's journey.

Pretty simple but I guess I just saw a car I really liked one day and thought, “Hell yeah.”. Can anyone else relate?

I've been into cars since I was a kid. One of those things where you've loved them since you were a baby and can't really explain why, even if you can explain why you like cars.
When it comes to mechanics, however, it was too complicated for me to understand as a child so I really didn't get into it until middle school going into high school. Even now, I know how an engine and transmission works but I've never worked on a car in that way so it's hard putting two and two together lol
