hey guys, been feeling really bored with my life lately, so i just wanna see if anyone has any book recommendations. something sci-fi/fantasy. books i like are johnny the homicidal maniac, i have no mouth and i must scream, scott pilgrim, literally anything by philip k. dick, and the call of cthulu.

I haven't read any of the books you've read but some sci-fi books I really liked were Foundation by Isaac Asimov and the City and the Stars by Arthur C. Clarke. Idk if you'd like them but I thought they were rly good

I've enjoyed the dark tower series by Stephen king--you do need to read outside books to understand all the references, but I just found a list on reddit. It's his attempt at a series like the lord of the rings. The Stand is an epic which has a disease being created by the government which spreads and kills 99 percent of the population. I think all of us books are engaging throughout the entire book. If you liked Percy Jackson, I would say the talisman is just a more mature version of that.
