Taking pictures with a telescope

Hi, i managed to point my telescope at the Andromeda Galaxy and now I'm wondering, how can I make deep sky objects visible through a phone camera? I don't have a professional camera, though it is my priority. Any ways to improvise?

Hi!

I have not tried this but I think it is possible with your scope if you are able to get a mount for your cellphone. Depending on the phone you can change the length of exposure time (which is the length of time the camera sensor is exposed to light). The mount is needing because with longer exposure any movement can mess up your photo, so you want the phone to be as still as possible. If you can mount your phone to the telescope after locating andromeda, you should be able to take a 30 sec exposure shot and hopefully get something.

Again I have not been able to attempt this, but if it doesn't work the mount is great for lunar and planetary photos/videos.
