i feel like its so hard to find cosplay meetups in general outside of conventions but like it would be so much fun to wander around the mall and take pics with other hs cosplayers, but like i live near dc and there isnt much of a cosplay scene here </3

I wish meetups would become popular again, especially within the fandom since i want to so badly get into it! unfortunately i also live in a area not big in cosplay and its so sad. (ᵕ—n—)

my wife and i each year on 4/13 without fail go to the malls in charlotte NC in homestuck cosplay, im trying to get my friends to either get into it or fly up here for a 4/13 party next year!

Arkansas has one every year on 4/13! they keep it pretty low-key and announce the location a couple weeks before the actual meet up on a facebook group, but they do happen!! very fun all around!!
I had a homestuck-themed birthday one year where everyone cosplayed and that was SUUUPER fun as well!!
if ur looking to find a meet-up in your area, id say to scour local facebook groups centered around cosplay or get into contact with homestucks at cons (they typically stay connected through like discord, instagram, etc.) these groups might be small but im certain they exist - a lot of homestuck cosplayers have just retreated underground.
