curious if it would be possible to make this site work correctly on older browsers like old firefox or internet explorer. that should sum up what i'm trying to say.
IE 8 gives back a 408/409 error and Firefox 6 doesn't support TLS 1.1 or 1.2

That's a nice idea...
However, outdated software can't be supported thanks to the existences of HTML5 and CSS3.
Older browsers would need Flash or HTML3/4 or older versions.
