cubist pop manifesto by big*flame is definitely interesting...  also dog man star by suede, a northern soul by the verve and 13 songs by fugazi are some of my favourite albums, all pretty different!

I'm a big fan of Wolfsheim, they're one of the lesser-known but still fairly popular synthpop bands of the 90s.

The Sparrows and the Nightingales and Kein Zurück are a couple of their most popular songs, but I really like A Look into Your Heart, Annie, A New Starsystem Has Been Explored, and Elias, though imo they don't have a single bad song

Abandoned Pools!!! it's actually just one guy, but he made the theme song and some of the music in clone high!! i absolutely adore him (my favorite album is humanistic, favorite song on there is fluoresceine).

i almost always recommend Panchiko to people too, they're a british shoegaze band from technically the early 2000s and were considered lost media until just a few years ago. ive met them irl twice now and theyre SUPER friendly and i adore every song theyve ever made :3

Rolly Abore on YouTube. Three Lices and A Molly is some really good music. Kind of like a post-punk and dark wave feel to it.
