ive never actively considered it before, but ive found myself getting really into the idea of the goth subculture. i just think the fashion and music is really cool and i honestly wanna try learning more about it since i really dont know that much right now. is there any "starting point" i could use from here? especially with music recs & fashion tips hhhhh...


any sort of artist recommendations, fashion help, inspiration, or just learning resources would be really appreciated!! it seems like a very interesting topic and i want to know more about it before really labeling myself as one i guess?

in terms of music recommendations, Bauhaus, Christian Death, and Siouxsie and the Banshees are good starting points

in addition, i think the comic Johnny the Homicidal Maniac is a good window into the attitude of goths in the mid 90s
