What do you think got you into the fandom?

Question

I put the "do you think" because like, anthropomorphized animals are everywhere and anywhen, so I'm thinking like what was the thing that you think was the direct reason you actually got closer to this fandom??

For me I think it was THIS kind of youtube videos. I started getting closer to the fandom around 2017, year in which I had barely no social media other than youtube and insta, and I'd just spend my time listening music on youtube. So this videos started to pop out, that and furloids are the main things that slowly drove me here lol

feral-heart, and having online friends that were furries; probably around 2012-2013

Zootopia for sure. It came out when I was 10 and I was obsessed with it. I'd already known what furries were at that point, but that movie inspired me to make my first fursona (that was technically an OC, but it was also a wolf with yellow and green fur so)

i always loved guardians of ga'hoole, warrior cats, animal jam and the robin hood disney film- but ironically enough my first exposure to the actual fandom was one of those videos about cringy communities and a photo of a furry convention came up. i thought they were so cool off the bat.

ANIMAL JAM!!! That game changed my brain chemistry fr TwT but also just being on Scratch, reading Warriors, and being on the internet at a young age made me eventually stumble here XD
