Fun fact about your story: it was inspired by a story idea i had in 5th grade

LORE: In this world, the universe is actually a house. The real world is the walls of the house, and is where the humans live. Then, there's the Upstairs, where the Kykis live. Kykis are gods that rule over important stuff like life and fire. The terrain of the Upstairs is on one big cloud, and all the buildings are made of gold. Then, there's the Downstairs, where Kyleekis live. Kyleekis are gods that rule over dumb stuff like moss and mist. The terrain of the Downstairs is just like normal real world nature, but with a pastel and neon color scheme. Then, there's the Basement, where the Keres live. The Keres are gods that rule over depressing things like death and misery. The terrain of the Basement is basically just like an old abandoned depressing empty town. Then, there's the less important layers: the Attic and Closet. The Attic is right above the Upstairs and its only occupant is Lucian, Kyki of light. Lucian was cursed to live up there by himself with no way out or no way in, so Lucian spends all this free time tormenting children as a voice in their head because he has nothing better to do. The Closet is found in the Basement and is a prison for the lonely. The Closet's only occupant is Monaxiá, Keres of loneliness. The word used to refer to all Kykis, Kyleekis, and Keres at the same is "Kamali".
