I love the instant availability of digital music and the ability to access it seamlessly because you have the option of discovering new music quicker, the landscape is limitless it seems, and the transfer and deliver of your own music makes discovery of you more reliable. However, CDโs are priceless. I canโt tell you how great it felt to head over to a local CD Shop or a Half Price Books and discovering CDs of bands you had no clue existed. Bruh, I would take gambles at these stores in hopes of landing a great purchase and I rarely got disappointed. For exampleโฆI think it wasโฆ2003 when I found a little gem of a band called โCrushedโ and their โSelf-Titledโ album and at the time I was heavily invested in metal and all that and so at the time the album art depicted this sort of edgy, dark persona..I canโt really explain it but itโs on Spotify now.
