2015-2018

I totally do, and I regret not bringing those toys I got up into my room from 2015-2018!

@Hellga yes thats true tbh just childhood as a whole as the best time of pretty much all of our lives it was so stress free and to think next year i'll be an actual legal adult its insane to think about

No. I was a preteen during those years and I slowly started noticing how much shittier the world around me was becoming during those years. I also went through quite a lot personally during those years, really cementing this feeling into me.

2018 was the worst of those years as that was the year I started middle school. And although 7th grade wasn't nearly as awful for me as 8th grade was, it still sucked nonetheless.

Also, Vine and Musically were just as stupid as TikTok. Don't let nostalgia blind you here.

Yeah I get what you mean that was the year I also went into year 7 so we're probably similar ages but tbf I think I was just blinded by the amounts of fun I was having of how shite the world really was cause tbh I cant really remember any bad things from 2018.

But I mean even if musically was stupid, which i'll admit some trends such as the dont judge a book by its cover trend was ridiculous, it was no where near as bad as what TikTok is, its literally just girls lip syncing a song while showing off their body and getting insane views, its basically another version of OF

i have such a weird relationship with that era of my life. i think its a lot easier to look back on it and miss it because its been so long i dont really remember how truly terrible it felt. but at the same time it was SO much fun. especially because of the age i was then, i was just getting into dating and having my own interests finally and understanding myself. fandom was so much more fun and social media wasnt nearly as mind numbing as it is now. i had more energy, i made more things. but it was still such a painful point in my life i definetly wouldnt do it again, but if i did i would cherish a lot of those little moments again. it almost felt like the sun hit your skin different than it does now. i worry life will never feel like that agin

Man, my life at that time was actually "good" compared to now. I would want to relive that time again to enjoy it as much as I could, because my mistake was not enjoying it... I turned 18 a short time ago and I'm in such an intense existential crisis.

Oh yeah 100% there was alot of good memories from back then and yeah for some it wasnt the best time in everyones lives but from personal experience and for many others it was one of the best eras, and I completely agree I dont think life will ever be the same again, mainly because we're only growing up and unfortunately we will never be able to go back in time to experience one of the best eras of Gen Z

honestly same here I would do anything to go back into those years and millions of others would aswell tbh, everything was so much more better then, even going outside and enjoying the beautiful time of summer 2018 will never feel the same, and its honestly quite depressing to think about, 2019 up until now has just been terrible
