Which do you like better? Personally I like winamp a lot more. It can be hella clunky sometimes, but I give it my full respect for not making updates drastic. HOWEVER, Foobar2k is hella complicated in my experience. I use Winamp for PC and Foobar2k (Portable/Compact ver.) for my MP3 Player. I get that it's supposed to be an advanced music player but there's no reason why I should have to go from the 2.1.5v build all the way to a 1.0.3v build just to install a pack, and then a UI. You really have to nitpick which themes you want as well, you can't have a custom UI along with a custom theme because the custom theme override the custom UI. Granted, I did go on DeviantArt for themes that went all the way back to 2009, but I hated the simplicity of the newer layouts (I DESPISE CLEAN AND MINIMAL UI). It's definitely not something to jump right into. Meanwhile with winamp, you can just install a skin, ui, and plugin all the way from 2007 and still be good (Granted some are broken, but they're few).
What's even more confusing is that I've used foobar2k in the past and remembering the software being way easier to personalize (I was on a shared computer). Am I just stupid or have I gotten too used to the winamp layout?? Or is Foobar2k the final boss of music players for audiophiles?
