manual shooting will be your best friend, learn the exposure triangle =)

Lens matters as much as your camera! Do your research if you choose to buy a camera. I have the Fujifilm X20 and I did watched a lot of videos and read articles about my camera. I hope you find your dream camera!!

not a photographer myself but I heard whenever you take a photo, make sure that the point of focus is clear! like someone can see the photo and know what the main point is! ^^

The only advice I would give to new photographers is to always be taking photos, you'll never improve or know what you need to work on until you're actually out there taking photos. 

If you ever have issues or questions; research, study, and practice techniques that can help you.

If you need practice, you should definitely offer your services to school clubs/sports teams, community groups, local business or artists around you.

The same can go with any kind of content creation, just have fun and enjoy the journey.
