The crown of thorns starfish

For those who don’t know, crown of thorns starfish are a type of starfish that eats coral and coral polyps. They are covered in thorns that have will hurt like nobody’s business if you are pricked by one. Of course, while them eating coral is fine, even though it kinda destroys the homes since a bunch of coral are used by many sealife as shelter, it’s fine. However, they will come to reefs to eat the coral if the water is not clean or is still. They also come in groups and can easily destroy ecosystems. Personally, while I like learning about them, I hate how destructive they can be to ocean ecosystems. What are your thoughts? If you have any corrections or anything to add please tell me.
