I would recommend Birth of Rap by Lil b, it invented cloud rap, and is still my favorite song in the genera.

I don't know if you like rock, but have you listened to the new Queens of the Stone Age album? it's so good
There's a guy called Alain Johannes (who collaborated for a long time with Queens and PJ Harvey, among others), he has an excellent album Frangments and Wholes (released some time ago), and if you want, your gateway can be the song called Kaleidoscope (I did a cover btw)
and there's also the album Rid of me, by PJ Harvey. One of the best albums of all time.
The whole universe around these three artists is the last "real" rock in existence for me.
