Help with HTML on Blog??

I guess you're able to do that with posts, so I copy and pasted my layout to an existing one, and even trying to use the span HTML tag for the colors, yet the text is still black? I even did a test journal without needing the span tag and the text color was white. This is an issue because on the blog post, it's virtually unreadable. Any possible help?

add this in the tag style="color:white;" or if that dosent work find the class of the space your typing in in the <style> tags and add color:white !important;
