Played it twice, once on release and once after edgerunners ofc. Both times I enjoyed the game even tho i averaged 50 fps and 20fps in japantown
But I highly recommend it. Spent most of the game just exploring the city.

i played it on the day it release most of the bugs were minor visual ones. the few real bugs i encountered was my car went flying randomly, falling out of the world after exiting my car, and my favorite one that my friend had discovered is when you had gorilla arms equipped and punch a fat npc and the npc just goes flying

Help!
My game won’t hack the door during the rescue mission (the first mission with Jackie) I’ve tried everything suggested online but nothing works. The hacking menu won’t pop up

Every patch is like "Hey you know that bug that prevents tooltips from popping up for half the gear in the game so you have no idea what anything does? And you know how a lot of the loot that you see laying around is superglued to the nearest surface? Well, we haven't fixed either of those game-breaking issues, but look, we added 3 new cosmetic items!"
Also, abandoning Win7 support was a fucktarded move.

it's one of the most beautiful games i've ever played, i love the story and how the choices you make can affect the gameplay, i finished it only one time, trying to finish all the side missions and endings before i play it again with another category at the beginning. I play on pc, there are still a few bugs but they didn't bother me that much, i like to consider it part of the gameplay lol.

Me and a friend started playing the game until we needed to leave the apartment but next to the character creator we didnt really have that much fun? Will the story or something get better over time?

I actually pre-ordered Cyberpunk and played it day one on an Xbox One S. I ran into several bugs but none of them were game-breaking and I thought the ones I experienced were pretty funny and added to the overall experience. It's still possibly the best-looking game ever made, the character models and facial animations in "cutscenes" were unbelievable, the best I've ever seen. The story is absolutely incredible, the writing is unbelievably good and the lore is deep. With more time, the gameplay would have possibly been able to go from a rather cookie-cutter RPG to the best Immersive Sim ever made. The bones are there, they were definitely setting out to make an ImSim, but were unable to due to project bloat, hardware/software limitations and an already incredibly lengthy development process. In the end, the resulting game, while undoubtedly a 10/10 experience, is but a fragment of the original vision.

I enjoyed the game and experienced minimal glitches even playing it near launch on PC. I did however find it game-play wise to be fairly mediocre, and nothing revolutionary. I would say try it and refund it within the 2 hour steam window if you don't enjoy it.

It was a bit of a let down for me because I was a huge fan of the tabletop game. Like I wanted to have more freedom when it came to character customization like all the cool full body augs and like something that felt more RP. I just felt like the game really wanted you to be one person than make your own story.

Had a few visual glitches here and there but other than that it was smooth sailing. Wish there was more to do in Night City but I had a lot of fun with the combat.

I love it so far!! Can't wait to get further into the game and get access to some of the more tangible Cybernetics, as well as more Weapons and Levels so I can start building my character more

I played it back near when it came out and absolutely enjoyed it despite its disappointing issues which it certainly had.
I want to play it soon again though after the recent big updates.

I would like to be able to give my opinion on the content of the game, but it is so pathetic that in 2024, the physical game for play4 cannot even be downloaded correctly to be able to play it.

I think the developers have fixed the bugs and glitches! I'm only halfway through with the game but it's soooo good and I haven't experienced any bugs :) 10/10 do recommend!

9.5/10 for me!
I pre-ordered it like a month before it dropped on Best Buy and I was a tad worried it would not arrive on time. Fortunately, it did! Sorta! Since I bought the Best Buy exclusive steelbook and game, both items were sent separately due to some issue but can't remember (The game arrived on time, steelbook arrived a week after).
For me, I was lucky to have 0 bugs or issues within the first patch! And I loved every second of the game! I loved the story, the characters, and the atmosphere. Judy is my top-tier girl and no one can change my mind on that! I remove half a point though over the disastrous patching later on and the lack of promised things, though. It's been a while since I've played, so hopefully I won't go through the roads anymore!

I played it for the first time last year, and then a few months later played through the Phantom Liberty Expansion. Currently have two saves/characters and completed the game on both, making it a point to see all the possible endings on my own. Amazing game, not sure what it looked like at launch but on my PC it worked perfectly. One of the best games I've ever played with a deep and engaging storyline and such rich and expansive lore. The storyline got me so hooked I had to consume even more lore on places like YouTube for deep dives and lore exploration. Even the soundtrack is amazing. Highly recommend.
