- The start selection has no weight.Β
- There are too few long hairstyles for the men.
- There is no transmog system. I don't want to be a clown.

8/10 - running the PS4 version on PS5.
There are bugs and crashes of course, but the gameplay is too Fallout for me. I was hoping for something a bit more fast-paced and challenging. Overall, the story and "personality" is there. They have a good foundation to build and expand from.

i cant really get behind how unethical the production was, not a huge fan of crunch, not a huge fan of how it was presented as ~subversive and inclusive~ when you still have gender locked hairstyles and gender locked voice options (which there are only two of), just seems like an unnecessary big budget game that, if worked on longer and given more actual thought and consideration, could have been really cool, but giant game studios just want to make as much money as possible without paying anyone a fair wage and i literally cant play a video game with all that in mindΒ Β

I honestly thought the main story was pretty fun and well done on PC - obviously not on other platforms - but somehow, that totally turned around in the last 30 to 40 minutes. Complete shift of quality, imo, feels like someone pulled the plug.
It didn't run well on my PS4 Pro. I experienced so many glitches while driving it just became unplayable. I'm thankful Sony started offering refunds today.

Presentation-wise I was extremely underwhelmed day one, game crashed during a very early cutscene so I just haven't booted it up since, been playing games I actually enjoy and don't have to try to enjoy. I'm okay with waiting for updates/patches.

I have it on PC and find it to be very fun. It's kind of hard to give it a rating or recommend it to other people though because everyone's experience with the game seems to be different. I've had multiple friends refund the game on steam due to it running poorly despite them having better hardware than me so it just seems finnicky overall.
I'd recommend at this point just waiting for maybe the patches in January or February to see if things improve or maybe try out the game for a couple hours on steam to see if you can even run it and refund it if you can't.
If things were smooth and there weren't as many bugs or crashes, it would be a 9/10 to a 9.5/10 for me.

0/10 probably the worst game i've ever played - all of the mechanics were just super janky. reminded me of playing goldeneye on an n64.

7/10 Incredible world building, incredible motion capture, outrageously good raytracing, (mostly) amazing voice acting, and phenomenal story writing for both main and subquests.
I'd rate it hire but they cut a lot of content and essentially pushed out an early access game.
I honestly think if they had said somewhere near the beginning of 2020 "Hey, the dev team needs more time, but we're going to release an early access version that will be updated over time" there would have been a lot less outrage.

I finished it last week and would have to give it like a 6/10 right now. A lot of the city is pretty to look at, but just a shell. Customization is actually hilariously limited? Super buggy. I WISHHHH it had happier endings but that's just a personal thing cause I don't like games to be depressing. Insane world detail, character design, mocap, voice acting, and good main quests. AND THE MUSIC IS KILLER.Β

damn you cant add ANY coding to these replies, figure it out.
Over all Experience is a 9/10, yeah there are bugs and glitches and sometimes the game just breaks in hilarious and outrageous ways but thats part of the Charm I think. I literally have 181 hours on this game through both playthroughs and literally still going hard on it.

I'm playing on PC and having a good time. Slowly working my way through the story because I don't get much time to play and I keep getting distracted by side quests. Night City is fun to roam around in!
- As others have mentioned, character creation is more limited from what it felt we would get. And once you finalize it, that's it; you can't change your character's appearance at all later. In a world full of mods, you'd figure you could, right?
- The background you choose has almost no bearing on the game. It changes your intro mission and gives you certain dialogue choices, but nothing else. It's more for flavor than anything else
- Speaking of intro... the first act of the game is messy as an intro to the story and the mechanics. You are given training, but it somehow simultaneously teaches too much at once and not enough. You're kind of dropped into the world without context and while it is fun to discover neighborhoods and other world elements, it's less clear how to do basic things. Things like crafting, skill tree progression, and item economy are left for you to learn entirely on your own.

It kinda disappointed me with how buggy itβs been. I mean, unless you have a next gen console or a decent PC. Overall I do enjoy the story but I canβt get the controls to feel right. Any tips?

Would you recommend it to a PS4 owner or would it be better to wait a little bit more? I heard about some friends of mine who faced game-breaking bugs that did not allow to continue with the story, but this happened as soon as the game hit the shelves, so I do not know if the overall experience was improved somehow. I read very opposing comments on the net

I do really like the game and I guess Iβve been a lot more lucky then others (on Xbox one X) that I donβt really experience a most of the bad bugs but I still get the Freezing & crashing and was the same for Fallout 76. But there is a whole lot that couldβve been in the game, the devs. Were right, the game really did need until 2022 before it was actually ready.

Love it tbh!! Aside from all the bs at launch and whats going on now with the hackers, I think its a great game. The missions...even the side quests are really well rounded. The combat is fun, the cosmetics are great, and I loooove the style!!

I just beat it this weekend and I loved! I was not following the game at allβknew nothing of the lore. And bought it on launch cause why not? And it's one of my favorite games, glitches and all (although mine weren't too bad on PC)
