why choose spacehey in 2024??

for me its definitely a break from mainstream social media- no ads, no scrolling, no shorts content... defo gives me a brain break.

also i think most people dont even realize forums exist or know what they are. some people post on here like its twitter or instagram loll 

for sure and no algorithm or "for you" content is so much better.

i think not knowing abt forums might be bcs a lot of people on here are young teens, i hope they discover it tho it's way better than comment sections on ig and tiktok etc

for me, i find old sites and stuff and always feel a little nostalgic that i never got to be part of the whole 'this is my korn site!' kinda thing that you got to look forward to getting home to deck out and link all your friends and stuff. i accidently stumbled across spacehey a few months ago and at first i was like "hmm this is kinda dead" and while its not the most poppin its just cause i was used to having things forced down my throat on other socials. now ive deleted all socials from my phone and only check twitter on my laptop a few times a week and instgram i message people but thats it. 

same here, i missed the myspace era just by a couple years but spacehey kinda makes up for it. i've also deleted socials, they've become so tiring. the active community here isn't very big but to me it's enough to use it as my primary social media

because spacehey is not so annoying social media than other one, its like cozy place where you can be yourself with fully customizable pages

I'm here because a couple of summers ago I was very bored, and saw a recommendation from the Yesterweb community. It worked out better than other social networks I tried. Can't complain.

And you'll never hear about them again except in the past tense, because the community was hijacked, then closed down. But they were cool at the time, and I'm still here, so that was a good thing they did.
