“Girl, Interrupted,” “The Perks of Being a Wallflower, and “The Hunger Games” are all fantastic!
I have an appreciation for “American Psycho” as a piece of literature (I love postmodernism), but it’s definitely not a “fun” read. That’s one of the few works where I recommend people watch the movie over reading the book. I’d be curious to hear what you think of it though! As far as Bret Easton Ellis books are concerned, I really like his more recent release “The Shards.” It’s probably my favorite book of his.
I haven’t read “No Longer Human” yet but that’s been on my TBR as well!
Right now my TBR is to get through some of the books I’ve accumulated over the years but haven’t read yet, including
“Haunted” by Chuck Palahniuk
“The Nix” by Nathan Hill
“Rebecca” by Daphne du Maurier
