yeah, i know exactly what you mean about this. i feel the same way. it sucks because it's not just the internet; it feels like a whole social and cultural shift that's taken place. people online joke about this being "the bad timeline" but when i look back at how things were then, it really does seem that way sometimes lmao
i know things weren't "better" back then as such, but they still looked that way on the surface. something you can't even say about things now.
