For us personally, we feel like a lot of the hate Clockwork gets is due to how she got shipped with Toby a lot, since Toby fangirls didn't like it. Especially with how Toby and Clockwork's creators went about the shipping. Same thing with Nina the killer or other female creepypastas that were canonically with or very often shipped with male characters who had lots of fangirls. We understand disliking her story, but the reasoning for hating her (and other female characters) is often either misogynistic or otherwise unjustified.

most of oc's that r shipped with "original" creepypastas too,
like(๑•́ -•̀), all of creepypasta is fanon who cares if someones oc in relationship wth any of the (exceptions exist)

IKR? Honestly Clockwork DOES have issues as a character. There are some aspects of her/her story that are fair to criticize (she's a creepypasta so obviously her story isn't going to be perfect). However, it seems that most of the hate comes from odd Toby fans instead of people with genuinely good criticism.
