tinker bell! i've only played the first two games out of the three, but i personally believe they're slept on. if you're a fan of the franchise - or animal crossing!!! - you'd probably enjoy it! the reason i bring up animal crossing is because it's similar in the sense that there are other characters you can build affinity with by interacting with them, giving them gifts, etc, there's a day and night cycle, so on and so forth! it's just a cute, cozy gameplay loop that i don't think enough people are aware of! the second game is considerably shorter whereas the first game doesn't have an end i don't believe, but in the second and third games you DO get to make your own fairy instead of having to play tinker bell which i think is cool!

Harmoknight doesn't get talked about much because it's a 3DS exclusive, but it's a banger rhythm game

THE LEGENDARY STARFY 100%. It's like kirby but somehow better, and i LOVE kirby.

Edit: SOMEONE ALREADY SAID THAT HAHA!!! I didnt even see it.

Another 3ds game I'd recommend is some style savvy game, i always get them mixed up. Dressup is fun!

Also, if you're up for games achievable on but not made for the ds/3ds, i HAVE to mention earthbound.

The world ends with you (TWEWY) is an absolute masterpiece. It was made in 2005 and translated in '07-'08. And it's EXCEEDINGLY hip, because one of the random npcs walking around can legitimately be trans. And she describes herself as "passing".

I thought that term didn't exist this far back.

I adoreeee the DS tokimeki memorial girls side games, though I understand why they are far from popular when it comes to appeal to the average person. Cute little dating sims with pretty sizable casts per game. While they may sacrifice having character depth for the sake of the amount of options, they are all still very charming to me! I do see it talked about occasionally on various otome game forums tho :P
