recurring problems in dreams

Does anyone else have the same problem with stairs or elevators in  their dreams? They just don't work.the stairs have unnecessary holes and gaps between the steps, sometimes you have to climb the railing to be able to go further.

I know how elevators work, but my brain still acts like it's some kind of black magic when I'm in my dreams like, the cabin barely holds together, it goes sideways, doesn't stop where it should(and the problem with reading numbers in dreams doesn't help with this) why is the concept of an elevator so hard to understand. What's so difficult about it. is it just me?

Yeah, I can see that stair problem usually in houses, I also have a BIG problem with snail stairs, I had so much weird/scary dreams involving them that I literally started to have something like a panic attack that would wake me up, its weird going full panic in dreams and just wake up like "wtf was that?", snail stairs in dreams are just infinite for me, and I have to remember how much I decided to go up or down so I dont end in a really dangerous place, its even worse when I can see below and over me in said stairs, but im glad that I havent see any snail stairs in a long time, its also weird see how people inside the dream that were near me start to get worried for me, even if just happened twice, the first one didnt knew how to help so I woke up, the second time it happened they got me out of the place so I didnt end up waking up.

I have never dreamed about elevators but stairs yes. One time I was going down stairs and suddenly there were lots of shoes on my way and the gaps between were getting bigger and bigger,, somehow the stairs had changed into ledders in the end.

Idk if this fits the topic but I used to have very vivid lucid dreams on a regular basis. Problem was I oftentimes couldn't control them like you usually can with lucid dreams, which can be rly scary when that dream happens to be a nightmare!

oooh i think it's because we don't really see how it happens from inside of the elevator... but i am not so sure.

there was a period when i only got dreams with elevators. at first the building i was in was just the apt building i lived in at the time, but as dream progressed it looked more like a toy house built out of fabric patches. what patch blanket looks like - that was what i saw on each floor. the main problem of the dream was however that the elevator arrived at random floors. i press 7, it arrives at 117. i press 117, it goes to 49. i press 1, i see floor -16. and that was an endless loop. i never arrived at the floor i needed in any of those dreams, even a couple that i saw out of that period.

the only time where an elevator in my dream functioned differently to that was my second nightmare in my life :((( when it was supposed to arrive it didn't, but the doors to the shaft opened anyways, and my dad walked in without looking. it was 7th floor. the dream cut off there.

but with ladders idk how to explain it. but yeah some missing steps sure did appear in some of my dreams, the less than incorrectly working elevators.

OH. idk about you but in my dreams there're always some complications! i never ever had a dream that was 100% good. there were some dreams that were good in contrast to complications or because i overcame them or the complications were so interesting the made the dream into a film, but never had i a completely smooth dream! so i guess, at least in my case, that faulty ladders and elevators are possible mandatory complications
