💋we have did, not osdd.Â
but here's the differences :
did is amnesia* and distinct alters.
(* localised = most common. you can't remember and event or period of time, usually just a short period of time though.Â
selective = this is where you can't remember details of events within a certain timeframe.Â
generalised = the least common. you can't remember anything about your identity and life history.)
(people with did can also experience emotional amnesia, and greyouts, they just usually experience those three just mentioned. so, all amnesia, but localised or selective more often. it's just more recognised in osdd-1b systems to have emotional amnesia and greyouts)
osdd-1a is amnesia, not very distinct alters. alters are usually different versions of the host, for example : different ages, different emotions.
osdd-1b is no amnesia, emotional amnesia*, or greyouts**, and distinct alters.
(*remembering things that happened clearly but feeling like the memories aren't yours)
(**almost spotty memory, if you think really hard you can remember but it's still blurry/fuzzy and slightly off.)
